This remote-controlled excavator is a scale model of the KITTEN 6015 B mining excavator. This excavator accurately represents the life-size model. It's a powerful, robust machine with a high level of detail that comes very close to reality.

There is a fully electric version of this excavator, and an hydraulic version in which the arm is fully actuated with hydraulic cylinders. In both cases, all the documentation for the parts to buy, the list of screws needed, the assembly manuals, and the parts to print are included and clearly identified.

All the STL files are placed in the best printing orientation already, so you are ready to print all the parts already.

In the last pictures, you can see a size comparison between the KITTEN 6015 B and a D11 bulldozer in 1/14 scale (same scale).

Approximate dimensions (as shown in the first picture): Length: 121cm (47-5/8 in) - Width: 42cm (16-1/2 in) - Height: 64cm (25-1/4 in).

Weight: Between 16kg (35lbs) and 23kg (50lbs), depending on the quantity of added weights you put in your own one.

The list of parts to buy is included, along with a complete list of hardware/screws to buy.

Clear and detailed assembly manuals (82 pages) are included in the files, to make your build easy and fun.

This model is printable on a 22x22cm print bed.

In this model, 7 metal plates are needed in the assembly. These metal plates are accurately made using a laser cutter, but can be made in other ways. If you want to make these metal plates yourself, the DXF files are included. There is a standard rock bucket included in the files, but there are a few more buckets that will be added soon as an update of these files.

Also, there will be add-ons coming in the next months, such as a dredging arm and/or a demolition arm configuration, as well as other add-ons coming out throughout the year.

Print the parts with 3-4 perimeters (outer layers) and at least 1mm shell thickness from the top and bottom.

Filling of at least 25%.

I recommend not using a larger than 0.4mm nozzle, as some parts are small.
